Sponsored challenge disclosure
Clear sponsorship. Optional measurement.
Version 2026-10-23-v1 · Effective 23 October 2026
What “Sponsored” means
A brand may pay to associate its logo and message with a Drift daily challenge. Placements carry a sponsorship label. Payment does not alter scoring, guarantee player participation or give the sponsor ownership of player data.
What is measured
Only consenting adults contribute optional campaign events: card views, brand-link clicks, game starts and finishes, game mode and capped self-reported scores. Reports currently show aggregate event and player counts. Groups below 10 distinct participants are suppressed. Counts are not independently audited and may be affected by bots, browser blocking, opt-outs and incomplete sessions.
What is shared
The owner dashboard and exported CSVs contain aggregate reports, not player emails, phone numbers, participant identifiers or individual event histories. Agencies are not given access to raw player records. Sponsors must not attempt to identify individuals, combine reports with identified lists or use Drift reports to infer sensitive traits. A separate written campaign agreement should define any report sharing and campaign obligations.
External offers and purchases
A “Visit brand” link opens the brand’s website. Drift does not send its participant cookie or identifier to that site. Any purchase, offer or refund on the brand’s site is governed by that seller’s terms. Drift currently has no in-game checkout, entry fee, cash prize or betting feature. Future paid features require their own clear pricing and applicable purchase/refund terms before launch.
Your control
Joining a challenge does not require opting into tracking. Change or withdraw sponsor measurement in Privacy & data controls. Active application records are erased on withdrawal/deletion; future reports are recomputed. Previously downloaded aggregate CSVs cannot be recalled.
